2013 Epic Pass promotional code?????

Epic Pass newbie’s are once again looking for something that doesn’t exist for purchasing an Epic Pass.

Some history for the newbie’s.  Before the season pass wars started in the 1990′s in Colorado, a season pass to a ski resort owned by Vail was around $1800.00.   So, before one goes looking for a discount on a extremely discounted season pass, think to yourself – would I like to pay $689 for an Epic Pass or $1800.00?  You do the math.

Remember to tip a great ski or snowboard lesson.

Yes, there is a box to check for ‘promo code’ on the application page.    Unless you plan on booking some super duper expensive slopeside lodging at Vail or Beaver Creek for a group,  don’t plan on having any a promotional code to put there.  If one is uber rich, call Vail Resorts and demand a promo code when making those reservations.  You’ll get those passes for free.

How to hand a tip to an instructor.

In short be glad the Vail Resort’s empire is offering a pass valid in four countries and 26 ski joints is offering a discounted ski pass.  The Mountain Collective Pass which is only good for two countries and nine ski resorts is $379 for two days at each joint.  Mind you that is Whistler/Blackcomb, Jackson Hole, Aspen/Snowmass, Alta, Snowbird, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Mammoth.

So, go ahead and purchase your favorite pass before the deal stops.  And they do stop.  Colorado locals are not getting any better deal than out-of-state people.

Vail Resorts will issue promo code’s for lodging deals, golf deals and such but you’ll need to have a pass already in hand.

2013 Epic Pass promo code?  Not a chance.
